Our Story
One Drop was founded in 2018 with a simple but powerful mission: to ensure that no one in Ethiopia loses their life due to a shortage of blood. What started as a small group of passionate individuals has grown into a movement that has touched thousands of lives.
Our name represents the profound truth that every single drop of blood matters. One donation can save up to three lives, and together, drop by drop, we are building a culture of giving that will transform healthcare access across Ethiopia.
Today, One Drop operates throughout the country, organizing regular blood drives, educating communities about the importance of blood donation, and building a network of committed donors and volunteers.
To bridge the gap between blood supply and demand in Ethiopia through community engagement, education, and regular blood drives, ensuring that every patient has access to safe blood when they need it.
